Chebureks are everyone's favorite! Always coveted, but what to do when it's fasting time? It's very simple - replace the meat filling with a lean filling, such as beans. It will be very filling and delicious!

  • Beans (red) - 1 glass
  • Onions (larger) - 2 pcs
  • Chaber - 1 pinch.
  • Coriander (in grains) - 1 pinch.
  • Black pepper - 1 pinch.
  • Vegetable oil (+ 2 tbsp.spoons, "Oleina" classic) - 1 glass
  • Wheat flour / Flour - 3 glass
  • Water - 3/4 glass
  • Salt - 2 pinch.
  • Sugar - 1 pinch.

How to cook chebureks with beans step by step with photos


Rinse and soak the beans for 4 hours, or overnight. Boil the beans in fresh water until tender, then drain and dry well.

Make dense dough from sifted flour, water, salt and a tablespoon of oleina oil. Let the dough rest well in the fridge.

Peel and finely chop the onion. Sauté them with a tablespoon of oil, sprinkle with sugar, salt and pepper. Fry until lightly golden.

In a blender, beat the beans with the onions, season with salt and add the chabber. Sprinkle with freshly ground coriander and mix.

Cut the dough into sausages, cut into slices, flatten into tablets and roll out into thin sheets. The dough is pliable and docile, I always work with it without adding flour. It is better to butter the rolling pin and the table. Put a spoonful of bean filling on the roll and press the edges together.

Go over the edges with a fork, additionally binding them.

Heat a glass of oil "Oleina" and fry the chebureks afloat in portions until crispy, gently turning them with culinary tongs.

Drain the ready chebureks on kitchen paper to remove the excess oil.

Serve hot and served with tomatoes or tomato juice.
