Nowadays, the wedding loaf is an obligatory attribute of a traditional wedding feast. According to custom, the loaf must be made by a woman, taking into account all the ancient rules of baking this ritual bread. Many believe that the dough preserves the energy of the person who kneads the dough. How to cook loaf "wholeheartedly" step by step with photos

Heat milk, add salt, sugar and yeast.

Add flour and knead the dough a little thicker than a sour cream. The dough is made rather thin, so that when you bake the bread it won't have a lump in the middle, and the loaf turns out very soft.

Thaw

The dough is put into two forms (a large and a small one), and flattened with hands moistened with water. Proofing for 40 minutes.

Bake at 200*

Making unleavened dough for decorations. Dissolve salt and citric acid in water (to prevent the dough from tearing when unrolling), add an egg.

Add flour and knead dough like for dumplings.

Make decorations to your taste. You can cut out rolled out dough with scissors.

Cut out with a mold.

To make roses, roll out the dough and cut out circles

Make a rose from the slices, stitching together.

For the towel, roll out a rectangle and use scissors to trim the ends on both sides.

Roll up a flagellum of two long sausages.

Arrange the hot baked bread on top of each other and quickly start decorating while the bread is hot.

Tie with the flagellum.

Glue the decorations with egg as the bread is hot and the dough sticks well to the bread.

We decorate with roses, leaves, doves and a towel.

We put it in the oven at 200° for 15-20 minutes. It is not necessary for the decorations to be golden (white is more interesting), the main thing is that they are baked.
