Ingredients for Twiglet Rolls:

  • Milk - 0.5 glass
  • Sour cream - 1 glass
  • Egg yolk - 3 pcs
  • Sugar - 2 tablespoon
  • Cognac - 2 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Wheat flour / Flour
  • Powdered sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

How to cook cinnamon rosettes step by step with photos

Mix well with milk, sour cream, egg yolks, sugar, salt and cognac.

Gradually add enough flour to make a stiff dough.

Roll out the dough as thinly as for noodles.

Cut out circles of three sizes.

Make incisions along the edges of the circles.

Stack one on top of the other (3 pieces) and press down the middle.

Fry cut pastry in hot oil.

Drain the ready cakes with a fork on a paper to let the oil drain off.

Sprinkle the roses with powdered sugar and cinnamon. Enjoy!!!!
