  • Kefir - 2 glass
  • Chicken egg - 2 pcs
  • Dough leavening agent - 2 teaspoon
  • Seasoning (Provence herb, dried basil, oregano - to your taste) - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 0.5 teaspoon
  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Butter (to grease the finished pie) - 1 tablespoon

Stuffing

  • Ground beef (or chicken, I have pork+beef) - 400 g
  • Onion (large, or 2 small) - 1 pc
  • Tomato (medium) - 1 pc
  • Sweet pepper (small) - 1 pc
  • Greens (dill and a little parsley to decorate the ready pie) - 1 pouch.
  • Pepper mix (to taste) - 0.5 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Sunflower oil (2 tablespoon, for frying stuffing and 1 tbsp.1 Tbsp. to grease the molds) - 3 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 clove
  • Hard cheese (I took Russian) - 70...100 g

Finely chop onion, fry in oil until golden, add minced meat, salt, ground pepper mixture, garlic (finely chop or pass through a garlic masher) Fry everything on medium heat.

Finely chop tomatoes and bell peppers and add to the stuffing and stew until liquid evaporates.

Do not add water to the stuffing after it is done.

Turn out the stuffing and leave it to cool until it comes to room temperature. For hostesses who have little time, the stuffing can be prepared in advance, put it in the refrigerator and the next day (as in my case) preheat the oven, stir for 5 minutes. put the dough and the cake in the oven - for dinner...)))

Let's make a dough: beat 2 eggs in a container (I had one with flour)), add kefir, salt, sugar, seasoning, mix the flour with baking powder, sift into the dough, mix (without beating it).

The dough has the consistency of thick sour cream.

In the form, I have a round with the height of 7cm, diameter 26 cm, oiled, lay out half of the dough, stuffing on the dough, not reaching the edges of about 1 cm, sprinkle with finely chopped greens..

Spread remaining dough evenly on top of cheese and make a small hole in the middle, about 5 cm in diameter. This will let the excess moisture out, and the cake will shrink a little bit afterwards. And at the end of the baking this hole will be filled with dough... So we put it in a preheated 180-degree oven! in the oven for 30 minutes.

As it starts to brown, I turn off the main gas and turn on the top (grill) to brown the top of the pie, it's fast, about 2 minutes. The hole will be covered by this time. Brush the pie with melted butter.

Remove to a plate, sprinkle with finely chopped greens.

The pie turns out puffy, flavorful, with a crispy crust on the sides, the cheese dissolves in the dough, forming delicious cheesy bits, as my mother said: "Amazing pie!".
