  • Butter (ice) - 200 g

  • Sugar (stuffing) - 100 g
  • Starch (filling) - 3 tablespoon
  • Apple ((Stuffing) with sourness.) - 5 pcs
  • Lemon juice (stuffing) - 1 tablespoon
  • Milk - 1 tablespoon

How to cook apple pie with cheese "gouda" step by step with photos

A flavorful cheese, such as Gouda, is great for this pie. I would like to say that on weekdays I bake a regular large pie in a large mold. And now I propose a festive version in individual bowls.

The first thing we will prepare is the chopped puff pastry. To do this, grate the cheese on a coarse grater or cut into cubes.

In the bowl of a food processor, or chop the flour, salt, butter and cheese with a knife.

Chop the cheese into a fine crumble. Add 6 to 8 tablespoons of ice water and once again grind. I want to pay your attention to the consistency of the dough, it shouldn't be sticky, elastic, etc. д. It should be a wet crumb. So don't add too much water! Otherwise the pastry will be sticky and the pastry will be stiff when baked.

Gather into a lump, wrap in clingfilm and put in the refrigerator for 1 hour or in the freezer for about 20 minutes. The dough can also be left in the refrigerator overnight if you want to bake in the morning.

Cut the apples into slices or half-circles.

Now for the filling. Mix sugar and starch. You can use any starch, either corn or potato starch. First, spray the apples with lemon juice so that they do not go dark, then coat them in a mixture of sugar and starch. Pay attention to the amount of sugar, if the apples are very sour, you can increase the sugar.

Now the dough. Get the dough out of the cold. Cut into two parts - for the bottom layer we will take a little more dough, t. к. We'll have a rim. Roll out into a thin layer. Line bottom of cake tin with lined baking sheet.

Next, fill the mold with apples. There should be plenty of apples. But make sure to show the edges to connect to the top layer of dough.

Make a square cut. Brush with milk or sour cream. And put it in the oven.

Bake at 220g. Bake for 20 minutes and 30-40 minutes at 180. If you choose the mini form, halve the time: 10 at 220 and 15 at 180.
