  • Milk - 1 glass
  • Chicken egg (1 piece for dough, 1 piece for greasing the cake before baking) - 2 pieces
  • Sugar (universal cane unrefined ТМ "Mistral"2 tbsp. Spoon for dough, 2 Tbsp. Spoon for apple sprinkling, 1 Tbsp. spoon for sprinkling the pie before baking) - 5 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Butter - 100 g
  • vegetable oil - 1 tablepoon
  • Yeast (small sachet of granulated yeast) - 7 g
  • Wheat flour / Flour - 3 glass
  • Apple (2 large apples) - 2 pcs
  • Cinnamon (2 tsp. tablespoons without a spoonful) - 2 teaspoon
  • Powdered sugar (I used melted powdered sugar meant to be applied to hot baked goods) - 1 teaspoon

How to cook apple yeast pie "Russian Tale" step by step with photos

Ingredients for the cake.

Pour a glass of milk in a bowl, add the butter (100g), add 1 tbsp of water, pour the milk in a bowl and spread over a large pan. Put a spoonful of vegetable oil, put mixture on low heat, heat until oil melts. Then take the mixture off fire and cool it a bit. The mixture must be warm.

To the warm mixture add yeast (7g), add sugar TM "Mistral" (2 tbsp. Spoons), stir the mixture well until the sugar dissolves.

Then add an egg (1 piece) and salt (1 tsp. tablespoon). Whisk the mixture with a fork.

Take 1 tbsp. of the flour mixture and add milk to the mixture. Spoonfuls of flour and add to the milk, butter and sugar mixture.

Put the bowl with the prepared mixture for dissolving the yeast for a while. In about 15-20 minutes. a cap of small bubbles forms on the surface of the mixture. The stew is ready.

Add rest of flour to stewed bread.

Knead the dough. Cover the dough with clingfilm or a towel and leave in a warm place to rise.

After about 60 minutes. The dough will rise and be enlarged. Knead the dough and leave to rise a second time. Then you can cut the apple pie.

Roll out the pastry to about 1 cm thick. Place the pastry layer in a baking tin. Flatten out the edges, trimming off any excess pastry.

Remove the core of the apples. Slice the apples into thin slices. Arrange the slices on the flattened sheets.

Sprinkle the apple slices with the TM sugar "Mistral".

Then sprinkle with cinnamon.

Decorate the pie to your liking. You can roll out the dough, cut out the strips and make the slits on the edge. Thus we have ribbons -"spikelets". Ribbons - "spikelets" Place them randomly on the surface of the future pie.

Brush the cake with beaten egg and sprinkle the surface with sugar TM "Mistral". The sugar will give a nice crunchy crust when baked. Put the tart in a preheated oven to 180-200°C, bake until done.
