Last night I had the idea to bake a cake for breakfast, and not just any cake, but in the form of an animal. And to surprise and make my boys eat I made a hare which I filled with different stuffing, for my dad and my sons. They were very happy when they saw the baked rabbit on the table in the morning. Ingredients for the pie "carrot cake":

  • Eggs - 1 pc
  • Wheat flour / Flour (to total weight + for sub-mix) - 4,25 glass

  • Salt (+ in all fillings to taste)
  • vegetable oil (+ margarine 50*50, And also for frying stuffing) - 10 tablespoon
  • Yeast - 2.5 teaspoon
  • White cabbage / Cabbage (young, stuffing № 1)
  • Onions (+ for stuffing #3)
  • Sausage (Vienna)
  • Chicken egg ( in stuffing № 2 )
  • Rice (round, stuffing №2)
  • Green onions
  • Potatoes (#3 stuffing)

How to cook pie "carrot cake" step by step with photos

Knead yeast dough as you normally do for pies. Let rise.

Stuffing #1. Chop all onion and fry in vegetable oil. Set some aside For the potato filling. Shred young cabbage finely and add to onion. Salt and stew. Add sausages. Next, make the ears. I stuffed them with stuffing #2. In this case we do not need to divide the dough. Simply roll out the dough with a rolling pin and place the stuffing and pinch the edges well from the top.

Fill legs with stuffing #3. Make usual patties, but put them on paper with the pinch up.
