How to cook "Autumn Blues" pie with cabbage and feta step by step with photos

Before you start cooking the pie, look out the window... Soak up the fading beauty of golden Autumn... Turn on the blues in the kitchen or other sweet music and start conjuring up our pie, stuffing it with autumn motives..

Finely chop the cabbage, chop small cubes of carrots and apples. Chop the onion into smaller pieces..

Grate feta and cheese on a coarse grater..

We pour all ingredients of our stuffing into a big bowl... We add 3 tablespoons of potato starch, beat 4 chicken eggs and mix everything thoroughly

Pour 150 grams of sunflower oil. Put 2-3 cloves of finely minced garlic (we can also crush them) in a frying pan. Baste for half a minute, stirring, until the garlic smell is bright..

Pour the ground crumbs, 1 teaspoon turmeric, 2 teaspoons curry in the garlic oil and, stirring constantly, fry until golden ... 2-3 minutes..

Beat a glass of kefir or ryazhenka + 4 eggs to a homogeneous mass and add cooled breadcrumbs... Mix well..

Pipe a thin layer of the resulting golden mass onto the bottom and sides of the tin. I have a huge cast-iron skillet for this purpose..

Fill the cran-garlic base of the pie with the filling, tamping it tightly and sprinkle the cranberries on top..

Cover the top of the pie with the garlic mass

My mother-in-law likes bell peppers... To please her favorite mother-in-law, for the second pie, I put a thin layer of finely chopped bell peppers and some cranberries on top of the cabbage filling..

Sprinkle the top of our pies with grated smoked sausage cheese (you may also use other types of cheese, which are fusible) and send our pies to a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 45-50 minutes

Let the pie cool to room temperature and you can enjoy the unique taste of the pie... The pie shell is slightly crumbly, with a subtle, subtle "hint" of garlic, and the combination of bryndza, cheese, cabbage, apple, carrots and cranberries is a whole pantry of health and pleasure!!!
