Ingredients for collapsible cabbage and meat pie:

Meat Filling

  • Pork - 300 g
  • Chicken breast - 200 g
  • Onions - 2 pcs
  • Garlic (and dry 0.5 tsp.l.) - 2 clove
  • Pepper mixture - 1 teaspoon
  • Sweet paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon

Vegetable stuffing

  • White cabbage / Cabbage - 600 g
  • Carrots - 150 g
  • Onions - 150 g
  • Tomato juice - 200 ml
  • Pepper mixture - 0.5 teaspoon
  • Sugar - 0.5 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Citric acid - 1 pinch.
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoon


  • Water - 200 ml
  • Chicken egg (С1) - 1 pc
  • Yeast - 12 g
  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - 50 ml
  • Wheat flour / Flour (400) - 390 g


  • Chicken egg (for grease) - 1 pc
  • Sesame (for sprinkles) - 1 tablespoon

How to cook collapsible cabbage and meat pie step by step with photos

Start with the filling and help yourself to the GALAXY. Use the slicing attachment to chop the onion. Change the slicing head and grate carrots. All this is done in seconds.

Use the slicing bit attachment to shred the cabbage.

Fry onion and carrot in 2 tablespoons of oil, then add the shredded cabbage, season with salt, add a cup of tomato juice and stir. Cook the cabbage under a lid on low heat, then take off the lid and let the juices formed during cooking evaporate slightly, but not completely, so that the cabbage remains juicy. Add sugar, pepper mixture, citric acid, whatever you like, to taste.

Simultaneously prepare the meat filling. Cut the pork and chicken breast into pieces, add the onion and garlic to them, using a sharp chopping knife prepare the stuffing.

Heat a pan with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, put the mincemeat in it, add salt, paprika, pepper mixture and dried garlic. Fry, stirring all the time and breaking up the lumps of stuffing.

Combine both stuffing, stir, allow to warm for a minute or two so that everything comes together, and set aside on a plate to cool.

While the filling cools, knead the dough. Dilute the yeast in warm water with 1 teaspoon of sugar and 1 tablespoon of flour. After 10 minutes, add egg yolk, egg white lightly beaten with a fork, salt, vegetable oil, stir and add flour. The dough is soft, but not sticky, put it in a bowl greased with butter, cover with clingfilm, let the dough rise in a warm place for about 30-40 minutes.

Cut the dough into 55-60g pieces, round it and let it rest under a napkin for about ten minutes. Then we begin to form patties. Knead each piece with greased hands into a flat pastry. Put stuffing and pinch, rounding off the pie.

New Year. Christmas. I'll put it in a mold . Cover the patties with a napkin and let them rise for another 30 minutes. Brush risen patties with beaten egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds. Put into hot oven 180°C for 30-35 minutes.
