More delicious pie options. If you don't have these ingredients for the filling you can substitute other ingredients. I figured I could boil them without soaking them first and used mung bean, peas "Idaho", Lentils, rice, and buckwheat.

Ingredients for the pie with different fillings:

For the pastry

  • Wheat flour / Flour (+2 tablespoon for dusting) - 475 g
  • Rye flour (If not available, substitute with wheat flour) - 2 tablespoon
  • Cane sugar ( TM "Mistral") - 2 tablespoon
  • Salt - 3/4 teaspoon
  • Yeast (quick yeast) - 2 teaspoon
  • Egg - 1 pc
  • Milk ( warm) - 150 ml
  • Vanillin (on the tip of a knife)
  • Butter (soft) - 40 g

For stuffing

  • Chicken fillet (boiled) - 300 g
  • Sweet pepper - 1 pc
  • Onion - 2 pcs
  • Garlic - 2 clove
  • Butter - 60 g
  • Mash (TM "Mistral") - 0.3 glass
  • Peas ("Idaho", TM "Mistral") - 0.3 glass
  • Rice (TM "Mistral") - 0.3 glass
  • Lentils ("Persian", TM "Mistral") - 0.3 glass
  • Buckwheat groats (TM "Mistral") - 0.3 glass
  • Sour cream (to grease the pie) - 1 tablespoon
  • Greens (parsley, dill ) - 50 g
  • Black pepper (ground) - to taste
  • Salt - to taste

How to cook cake with different fillings step by step with photos

1. Boil the yeast (2 teaspoon) in warm milk (3 tablespoon) with 1 teaspoon of sugar (milk and sugar from the total) for 15 minutes. Prepare the flour mixture. Mix 2 tablespoon of flour (b/g) with 125 ml of milk in a small bowl. Boil the mixture. Stirring occasionally, bring mixture to a temperature of 65 C or when it begins to thicken. Let the mixture cool.

Mix together sifted flour, vanilla, salt, egg, brewed flour and activated yeast and knead into a soft, slightly sticky dough. Stir in batches of soft butter and knead well, about 10 minutes. I greased my palms with butter and kneaded.

The ready dough is placed in a greased bowl, covered with cling film or in a cellophane sachet and left in the fridge overnight. The next day, the dough has doubled in size.

Let's prepare the stuffing. Take rice, mung bean, peas, buckwheat and lentils and boil them separately. Spread into individual bowls.

Add boiled eggs (optional). Boiled peas, mung bean, lentils - it is better to overcook or puree them, so that the mass is soft.

Fry finely chopped onion and garlic in butter until transparent. Add chopped bell bell pepper, salt, pepper and cook until pepper is ready.

Divide vegetables into bowls, add chopped chicken and finely chopped herbs.

Dividing ready dough into 14 parts. 5 parts for strips, 8 parts for patties, 1 small part for a strip for the middle of pie.

Take 5 portions and keep the rest of the dough in the fridge. Work with cold dough. Roll 5 portions into a ball and divide into 2 parts. From each piece roll out two 8x30 strips. Two strips make one circle.

Fold the strips in half. Cut with scissors "The fringe" up to the middle of the strip.

Lay out the strips in a circle. "The fringe" slightly flatten it (turn it out). We get one circle for the pie.

Then we lay out the inner circle with the other two strips. Make the second pie circle.

Make 8 cakes with different filling. The patties are big in size. Take one piece of dough out of the fridge and roll into a circle. Put filling, 2 or 3 tablespoon

Join edge of pie by dumpling or cheburek method... See molding in my recipe "Patties".

Place patties in a circle. Decorate middle with sliced and folded strip. Brush the patties with liquid sour cream and place in preheated oven at t 40 C for 20-30 minutes until baked. Then increase temperature up to 190 C.

Spread cake and brush with whisked egg yolk and milk mixture, bake until ready to serve, ~ 30 minutes. Happy Cooking and Happy New Year!
