  • Wheat flour / Flour - 100 g
  • Semolina - 100 g
  • Sugar cane - 30 g
  • Chicken egg - 2 units
  • Butter - 20 g
  • Dough leavening agent - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon zest (from) - 1/3 piece
  • Figs (seedless weight ) - 100 g
  • Grapes - 150 g
  • Kefir - 150 ml
  • Nuts (any) - 50 g

How to cook grape and fig cake with nuts step by step with photos


Cream the eggs with the sugar.

Add semolina.

Add some buttermilk. Leave the mixture to swell for a while until the semolina begins to swell. Then add flour, baking powder, butter (before melting) and mix well. The dough has the consistency of thick sour cream.

Remove dates from pips. Chop dates and nuts with a knife.

Divide the dough into two parts. Add dates and nuts in one part. Top with grapes and lemon zest.

Butter the form (or line it with parchment), pour the dough with dates, carefully distribute the other part of the dough with grapes on top. Bake the pie for 30-40 minutes at 200*С. Of course, according to your oven!
