Everyone loves cakes with meat, so I know there are a lot of recipes on this site, but I decided to post my favorite. Unfortunately, due to lack of time, I don't bake them as often as my family would like. But now, on weekends, you can bake nice, soft meat-filled cakes with feeling and understanding, without any hurry, as my mother used to say "take my breath away". Come in for a treat!

Ingredients for meat pies:


  • Wheat flour / Flour - 800 g
  • Chicken egg - 3 units
  • Butter - 50 g
  • Sunflower oil - 3 tablespoon
  • Milk - 200 ml
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Yeast (fresh or 1 tbsp. tablespoon dried) - 30 g
  • Sugar - 0.5 teaspoon


  • Pork - 1 kg
  • Onions (large) - 2 pcs
  • Carrots - 1 pc
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Allspice - 4 units
  • Bay leaf - 2 units
  • Sunflower oil - 1 tablepoon


  • Egg yolk - 1 pc
  • Milk - 50 ml

How to cook meat patties step by step with photos

Prepare dough first. Sift flour. Dissolve yeast in a glass of warm milk, add sugar and half a cup of flour. Place in a warm place until it forms a foamy cap.

In a large bowl, whisk the eggs with a fork, add salt, soft butter and sunflower oil, and stir together. Pour in the contents of a glass with the yeast that has risen.

Gradually add flour to knead the dough. You may need a little more or less flour - flour varies, it's hard to guess. As soon as the dough is no longer sticky to your hands, do not add more flour. The dough should be soft and pliable. Place dough in a bowl, cover with a towel and place in a warm place for 2-3 hours.

While the dough is heating, prepare the filling. Cut meat into large chunks and boil in salted water. Add one peeled whole onion, peeled carrot, bay leaf and allspice to the meat. Cook until tender. Take out the meat together with onions and carrots from the broth and cool.

Chop another onion and fry in sunflower oil. Mince the meat and vegetables through a meat grinder and add to the pan, stir and fry a little. Add some bouillon to the filling to make it juicy.

Meanwhile the dough has risen.

Grease your hands with vegetable oil and for a few minutes "Play with" Knead the dough, knead well a few times. The longer you knead, the more elastic and tender the dough becomes. While kneading, smear your hands with oil. Divide the dough into small pieces, from which roll balls the size of a small egg, about 50 grams each.

On a lightly floured table, use your hands to make a small loaf. Put the filling in the middle and make a patty.

Line a baking tray with baking paper, place the patties with the seam side down. Do not put the patties very close together, because. к. The patties will enlarge in size. Let it proof for about 15 minutes.

Mix egg yolk with milk and glaze the patties.

Preheat oven to 170 degrees and bake the patties until golden and cooked through, about 20-30 minutes, check your oven. Drain the ready patties in a bowl, soak your hands in water and sprinkle the patties, cover with a towel for 10-15 minutes. This procedure makes the patties soft and tender, like fluff.

The patties are ready and can be served with tea, milk or meat broth, which we got from cooking meat. You can make a nice soup out of the broth.
