Tender fluffy pumpkin filling with a hint of cinnamon will surely please those who love tasty food, but nevertheless are watchful of their figure or stick to the basics of PP. A good alternative to high calorie desserts. All are welcome to the table) Calories per 100 grams - less than 150 kcal

The recipe

Ingredients for pumpkin pie:


  • Oat Flakes (grind into flour (not dust), you can take bran) - 1 glass
  • Chicken egg (separate white from yolk) - 1 pc
  • Pumpkin (gave an approximate amount) - 300 g
  • Sugar (!to taste! you can, and should even replace stevia.. but I didn't have any) - 2 teaspoon
  • Apple (optional) - 1pc
  • Raisins (vary amount if desired) - 30 g
  • Water - 0.25 glass

Prepare the ingredients)

The first thing I did was to boil the pumpkin. I had it frozen. I think that nothing bad would happen if you bake it, or cook it in a steamer. The main thing is to cook it until it's ready.)

Now for the base. Mix in some ground oatmeal.. I have a cereal that needs to be boiled for 7 minutes) with water (you can experiment here, changing the water into juices, but we have a diet version) to make the cereal swell. See the amount of water for yourself, "porridge"-the dough should not be too liquid. Let it swell for a few minutes

Meanwhile whip egg white to a froth.

Add whipped egg white to our cereal. Stir in . Line a cake tin (I have a 18 cm diameter tin) with baking paper, spread the dough, flatten it and line it (if possible) with rims. Put in the oven for 15-20 minutes at 170 degrees.

Now the most delicious... stuffing)) We take the cooked pumpkin and put it in a blender. Add the yolk (gently, let the pumpkin cool down a bit before adding the yolk). Whisk . Then a spoonful of cinnamon. Here goes my digression from the original recipe. For fullness of flavor and vitamins, I added a peeled apple:). And yes, if you have a sweet tooth, don't forget sugar or some kind of substitute. Whip it all up until it's pureed. And yes, do not forget to add raisins (pre-soak them in boiling water, but I forgot)

Here we have the base for the pie. We take out our form and spread the filling on the base. Let's send the pie into the oven for 30-40 minutes, at a temperature of 170 degrees on average. You know what kind of oven you're in. I had it bake for about an hour. When ready I judge it this way: the filling should firm up a little (the filling is airy and very soft) and not stick too much to your finger.

Take the finished pie out of the mold, carefully peel off the paper. Beautiful both warm and cold)). You can decorate it with cream, chocolate, you can use your imagination). I hope this pie will save someone from hunger fainting from baking dreams:)))

Almost forgot.. To calculate the FAT, maybe somebody needs it (130 kcal per 100 gr, and the whole cake is 1000 kcal)
