I saw this idea on a web-site long time ago. I don't remember. I really liked it, but imagined it would be very complicated.. I remembered this when I found some cocoa in my cabinet... I thought I'd make some.. It's hard to surprise you anymore?...:))) True, I remembered to take a picture when I made the dough. Here everything is simple. The recipe is basic. And since I'm not a virgin, I dared to write it down. I thought, -I won't forgive me girls and boys (I'm not the only one!) :) that I didn't report in..;) Here we go!!!

Ingredients for rainbow apple pie from d. Jura:


  • Wheat flour / Flour - 300 g
  • Margarine - 180 g
  • Sugar - 250 g
  • Salt - 5 g
  • Vanilla sugar - 1 sachet.
  • Dough leavening agent - 1 sachet.
  • Cocoa powder - 0,5 glass
  • Food coloring (Any) - 1 pc
  • Apple - 2 pcs
  • Chicken egg - 4 units

How to cook Rainbow Apple Pie by D. yura step by step with photos


Beat margarine with sugar, salt, vanilla sugar. Add separated egg yolks, one at a time. (put whites in the fridge for now). Slowly add flour and baking powder. Mix with mixer on low speed. Peel two apples, cut into thin slices, drizzle with lemon and put aside in a bowl. Whip the whites in a blender until stiff.

Gently whisk whites and dough together; Up and down... Up and down... Okay, no distractions! :)

Found some leftover cake decorating paints. Got the blue. But for some reason, it turned turquoise..:) Divided the dough into three parts. I put the blue in one. The second with cocoa The third is pure without any coloring agent. You can make a seven colors! ) Anything you like! :)

Gently mix everything with different spatulas of different colors (I have three of them)...) So it'll be nice to look at! ;) Or with spoons. :)

Turn on the oven for now. Let it heat up. Prepare a greased mold and sprinkle the breading lightly.

And now for the fun part! ♪ That's the trick ♪! :) In small portions of a couple of spoonfuls, pour into the center on top of each other, alternating layers as you like! White-blue-brown. Blue-white-brown! As you like!

Got it! The dough is thick. Pour gently so the layers do not mix. My wife took it off. Yura poured...:)

Now for another trick! :) If anyone knows how to draw on a cappuccino, about the same. A sharp skewer (be sure to wipe with a napkin each time) Draw from the center to the full depth of itself, 4 times.

Now we use our imagination and put apples or peaches on the base as we like... The pie will be juicier. And because of the blush, you can't see the pattern anyway.

I also sprinkled my favorite sesame and poppy seeds. We put it in the oven at 170-180 degrees for an hour. (I do not post pics, there are too many.) Let's take it out and grease it with butter. We put a towel over it. Let it rest from us...)))

And now for the most interesting part! While the family goes crazy there and sets the table, pours the tea... Waiting, worrying, everyone is nervous...:))) Slicing, a ball of ice cream with strawberries nearby, And especially for Marinochka, who really wants to go to Paris, This is how they serve desserts in Paris.
