Of course, there are a lot of recipes with that name on the site. I hesitated to post another one... But it is a very different type of cake, it does not contain any flour, and it is suitable for a snack for people who keep right eating.

How to cook cabbage pie step by step with photos

As always it's easy. The assortment of ingredients is very simple.

Shred the cabbage finely in julienne strips. I have this special knife with two blades - it's very convenient and fast to use it.

Grate carrots with a coarse grater and turn oat flakes into flour with a blender or a coffee grinder.

Let's make dough. In a bowl with kefir add a teaspoon of baking soda. The kefir is at room temperature.

In a couple of minutes it will start to react, the kefir will start to foam. That's what we need. Put it aside for 10 minutes.

And let's make the filling. Add a teaspoon of vegetable oil to the pan. Using a brush, spread the oil on the bottom, a little bit on the walls.

In a heated frying pan with oil fry (if you can call it that, rather stew) carrots, about 2-5 minutes - until the carrots begin to glow.

Add the cabbage and stir. Stir-fry with the carrots for about 5 minutes.

I try not to use salt in dishes, so I replace it with good quality soy sauce. Add your favorite spices to the cabbage (you can use cumin, black pepper, paprika). Stir and stew without cover for 7-10 minutes. I must say, I cook the cabbage in this way not only for stuffing. It turns out very different, very tasty. We mustn't let the stuffing stick. Let's taste it - the cabbage must crisp a bit. Turn off the heat.

Add oat flour to the kefir and stir. Add egg and spices. Knead once more with a spatula.

Grease the cake pan with butter. Roll the sides of the cake with oatmeal flakes.

Pour the dough into the mold, spread it along the bottom of the mold, and form small rims. Add 2/3 of the cabbage on top of the dough, and kind of knead it so that the filling joins the dough. Place 1/3 of the cabbage on top of the dough.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. And put away our pie. Prepare the filling: finely chop the herbs, mix with eggs and whisk with a fork. You can spice it up with a little pepper.

After 20 minutes we take out the cake and pour eggs with greens. Put it away for another 20 minutes. Your oven may need a little more or a little less time. Once the pie has browned, turn off the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes (you don't have to keep it). It smells delicious and looks delicious too )

Here's the cut. While photographing the cut, my husband took a piece (thought I would not notice). Bon appetit!
