Ingredients for snack cakes:


  • Water - 1.5 glass
  • Butter - 2 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoon
  • Sour cream - 4 tablespoon
  • Yeast (dry, 8g) - 1 sachet.
  • Wheat flour / Flour (approx.) - 4 glass
  • Sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Mushrooms (Korean variety - White Beech Mushroom) - 150 g
  • Eggplant - 1 pc
  • Green onion - 1 bunch.
  • Greens (parsley) - 1 pouch.
  • Pine nuts (to taste)
  • Onion (small head) - 1 pc
  • Sweet pepper (red, green, orange, yellow)
  • Olive oil (to taste)
  • Salt (in stuffing, to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Mozzarella - 350 g

How to cook snack cakes step by step with photos


Knead the dough in the bread machine or by yourself. While the dough is being kneaded (it takes 1 hour and 50 minutes) I made the toppings: mushroom and eggplant, and prepared the rest of the ingredients. All these products made three medium flatbreads (one with mushrooms, two with eggplant) and one large flatbread with cheese, onions, and bell peppers.

For medium sized tortillas our starting points are: fresh mushrooms, eggplant, parsley greens, green onions, pine nuts, salt, pepper, olive oil.

Fry the mushrooms in the olive oil....

...Then add finely chopped green onions, after a while add pine nuts and lastly parsley greens. Season with salt and pepper and the mushroom stuffing is ready.

Eggplant stuffing: Sauté diced eggplant in olive oil...

...Then add green onions, parsley, and pine nuts. Taste and season with salt and pepper.

Ready toppings.

Divide the dough into two equal parts. Set one part aside and divide the second part into three equal parts. Roll out these pieces into flatbreads.

Make arc-shaped incisions in each patty, as shown in the picture.

Formed "ears" overlap.

Leave the flatbread to rise for 15-20 minutes in a warm place.

Then fill them with the filling.

Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C until melted.

After baking.

For a large loaf we need: mozzarella cheese, onions, bell peppers, olive oil.

Roll out the rest of the dough into a rectangular shape. Spread the cheese on one side of the dough, fold the free part of the pie over the filling, giving the shape of a pie.

Pinch edges together thoroughly...

Drizzle a little olive oil on top of the patty ...

On the surface, then arrange the bell peppers and onions cut into rings.

Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C until melted.

After baking.
