Ingredients for the bright tart:

  • Wheat flour / Flour - 200 g
  • Knead the dough - 0.5 teaspoon
  • Dried fruit - 120 g
  • Apple - 4 pcs
  • Chicken Egg - 3 pcs
  • Brown sugar - 100 g
  • Vanilla - 1 pc
  • Lemon - 1/4 Piece
  • Butter - 40 g
  • Cinnamon - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Rum - 2 tablespoon
  • Strawberries - 250 g

How to cook fancy pie step by step with photos

During these gloomy days I was tempted by strawberries, which were flirtatiously showing off among the rest of their brethren in the produce section of the supermarket. But not all that glitters is gold. When the packaging was removed, it turned out that the beautiful strawberries were practically inedible, the beautiful green ones on the inside. I had to think of something, and then I remembered I have a recipe just for such an occasion. The author Nina Tarasova, her apple pie was the reason for my Attractive Pie.

So let's begin. Almost any kind of dried fruit - raisins, cherries, sliced dried apricots or prunes, etc. д. I had dried cranberries and raisins. Pour the cranberry and raisin mixture over boiling water, add the vanilla pod cut in half and the seeds from it. Cover and microwave for two minutes. Then take it out, add two spoons of rum, stir it and set aside. If you do not have rum, you can put it all in 200 ml of apple juice.

Dice medium apples. To prevent apples from turning black, drizzle them with lemon juice.

Dice strawberries, too.

Whisk eggs with sugar and a pinch of salt until a pale and thick mass is obtained.

Add sifted flour and baking powder to the resulting mixture. Stir gently.

Melt butter, add cinnamon, pour into the dough, and stir together. Then add apples to the dough and mix together. If you think there are too many apples, don't worry: the pie will rise in the oven and be just fine.

You can grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle it with flour, or, like me, line it with baking paper and place the dough in it.

Sieve the cranberries and raisins and place them on top of the dough. Discard the vanilla pod.

Place chopped strawberries on top. Put the form into a preheated oven (180 degrees) and bake for about 45 minutes. Take into account the peculiarities of your oven - my pie took 45 minutes to bake, and the neighbor, who took the recipe from me after tasting it, took a whole hour).

Take the pie out of the oven, let it cool, and treat yourself.
