How to cook feta with unusual stuffing step by step with photos
Finely dice onion and fry in oil until golden brown. |
Any kind of stuffing (in my case it was "homemade sausage", made according to recipe from site) add to onion in pan. Continue to fry over low heat. |
Dice spinach (I have a frozen spinach from a restaurant) and add it to the pan. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Do not forget to stir. |
Dough: sift flour through a sieve |
Prepare the yeast: pour 2-3 teaspoon of sugar in a mug, top with yeast (I have dried), pour 2/3 of it in warm water. Cover with a saucer. Let it rise in a warm place. |
Pour the risen yeast into the flour, add 0.5 teaspoon of salt. Dilute sour milk in a jar with warm water, stir and pour into a bowl with flour. Knead everything with your hands. The dough should be soft without sticking to your hands. Knead the dough thoroughly. Cover with a napkin and leave in a warm place for about 20-30 minutes. |
When the dough has risen (has 3-4 times its volume), take it out of the bowl. Roll out into a sausage shape. Cut into pieces.
Put one slice to work, cover the rest with a napkin, so that it does not get too heavy. Roll out into a thin doughnut. Roll out 4 pieces in this way.
Stretch the dough gently in your hands or on a table (who knows how). Stretch it thinly to see through the dough. |
Grease with vegetable oil. |
Spread out the stuffing. Sprinkle with grated cheese. I have "Tilsiter". I couldn't find it on the list (. |
We wrap it up in a roll.
I usually do it the other way, but I was too lazy this time. This is the lazy version "of pies". |
Wrapped in a snail's wrap and placed on a baking tray. "Snail" ♪ needs a little bit of ♪ "crumple it up" with your hands or "or tamp it down ". It'll be softer and juicier. |
I stretch it out on a baking tray to my liking. I got two big "snails". |
Bake at 200-220 C. Approximately 25-30 minutes. It depends on your oven. You don't have to bake for a long time. к. The filling is ready to serve. |
Remove the tray with the tortillas from the oven. Prepare a wide basin bowl with cold water in advance. Use a wide spatula to remove one vertu and quickly dip it in cold water. Invert onto a baking tray "face down". Let us do the same with the other one, but put it on the other one "face up". We cover it with towels (2 or 3 towels), i.e. е., Wrap.
In about half an hour we open it, put it on a plate and... Bon appetit! |
