This pie is my culinary declaration of love to my husband. I kneaded the pastry with LOVE, added COURAGE to the chocolate cake, made the cream with tenderness and put a surprise inside.

Ingredients for yeast pie "a box for my favorite":


  • Cream (10%) - 150 ml
  • Salt - 1/3 teaspoon
  • Sugar - 120 g
  • Chicken egg - 2 pcs
  • Vegetable oil - 3 tablespoon
  • Wheat flour / Flour - 430 g
  • Yeast (12 g) - 2 teaspoon

Chocolate dough

  • Milk - 50 ml
  • Egg - 1 / 2 pcs
  • Salt - 1 pinch.
  • Sugar - 40 g
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablepoon
  • Wheat flour / Flour - 120 g
  • Cocoa powder - 20 g
  • Yeast (2/3 tsp.l.) - 4 g

Unleavened dough

  • Water - 50 ml
  • Wheat flour / Flour - 70 g
  • Salt - 1 pinch.


  • Cherry - 10 pcs
  • Sour cream - 100 g
  • Powdered sugar - 2 teaspoon
  • Coconut chips (to taste)

How to cook yeast pie "a box for your darling" step by step with photos

I make the dough in a bread maker (you can make it in a regular way). I pour warm cream into a bucket, add an egg, salt, sugar, and vegetable oil, sift out the flour and pour dry yeast from "Saf-moment" on top. Turn on kneading dough. Turn out 750g of dough, the dough is a little sticky.

I transfer the dough with hands greased with sunflower oil to a greased bowl, cover with a towel and leave it to rise for 3 hours.

I divide the egg into egg yolk and egg white, use half of each for kneading the chocolate dough, leave the rest for greasing. I proceed with the chocolate dough in the same way as with the light one.

Toss the cherries in a sieve.

I divide the light dough into three parts, one is bigger. Roll out the smaller pieces as shown in the picture to the size of the mold,

I put the first piece into the mold and distribute it by hand, the second (the future lid) - on baking paper. I nibbled off a small piece from the second part.

I pull out the big piece in a flagellum and roll it up,

I form a rim. We cover with a towel and leave it to rise for 2-3 hours.

We divide the brown dough into 5 parts and form rolls of four

We twist two of them together to make two plaits.

Place the plaits on the edges of the "lid". Cover with a towel and leave to rise for 2-3 hours.

I divide the rest of the dough into small pieces, roll out the circles, put a half of a cherry rolled in coconut shavings,

I gather the edges of the dough and form balls (small, smaller than a walnut)

Knead unleavened dough, not too dense. Make swans

And petals for flowers

Grease the base of the cake with egg yolk and put it in a preheated 180 degrees oven for 30-40 minutes, cool it down. Put the lid in the free form and grease it with egg yolk. Place swans and flowers on the lid, grease them with egg white. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees until golden brown for 30 minutes, balls - 10 minutes (use your oven as a guide). Let cool.

To assemble the pie. Mix sour cream with powdered sugar, grease the casket inside, lay out the balls (some left over) and cover with a lid.
