Baked dumplings with pineapple

Cooked Baked Dumplings with Pineapple

Time to cook: 35 minutes

Total Servings: 3

Dear cooks, I'm afraid I won't be able to surprise you with this recipe, but I'll be very happy if it comes in handy for someone. I came up with this recipe about 20 years ago on New Year's Eve. I had a pretty busy schedule at the time. I would come home on December 31 at about 6 p.m. And no one cancelled the guests and the holiday, and I also wanted to have time to clean up. I made salads and dumplings the night before. The guests were happy. This is still an obligatory dinner for my family at New Year vacations.

Countess Cherry Jam

Cooked cherry jam countess cherries

Time to cook: 60 minutes

Total Servings: 10

Cherry season will soon be over, so I want to share with you my recipe. It was born out of an idea that got stuck in my head: to make such a preparation of berries for the winter, which can be used to decorate future pastries, so it would be delicious and beautiful. It turned out, in my opinion, interesting in form and taste, very fragrant and pretty cherry! The whole vase, left for sampling and evaluation, was tasted and appreciated in the next 5 minutes!

Almost Tolstoy-style Mushrooms

Cooked Mushrooms Almost Tolstoy-style

Total Servings: 2

Saw a very appetizing recipe in a magazine and decided to repeat it, but with a few changes, so "almost". The recipe calls for fresh, selected porcini mushrooms, but I had a mix (porcini, mayber mushrooms, aspen mushrooms) of frozen. And instead of sour cream, I used a thick, fragrant, extremely tasty homemade ryazhenka made with Oursson's bacterial starter.

Trout in sparkling wine Champagne

Cooked Trout in sparkling Champagne Wine

Time to cook: 30 minutes

Total Servings: 2

Once upon a time in France... in the Benedictine monastery of Auvilliers, on August 4, 1693, the monk and winemaker Dom Pierre Perignon showed the abbot of the monastery his creation: a white wine with a delicate aroma, soaked with the tiniest tickling gas bubbles. The wine invented by Pierignon became the main attraction in the Champagne region, where the Abbey of Auvilliers was located. As is the custom in France, the wine was named after the province: Champagne... And trout have always been found in the mountain rivers of France. Today we are cooking a brook (river) trout in sparkling wine!
