AUTUMN RAIN.
Autumn rain, not a summer thunderstorm,
Autumn rain, you are the dearest of all,
You're like a salty, bitter tear,
You bring sorrow to the earth.
Your motives are words of the past,
That already sound dreary in my memory,
They'll wash away all the same, but in the meantime,
I can see what was there so long ago.
And what was there? Was so long ago,
And all I remember is the song that was playing,
And it was white outside the window,
There was a sorrow in my soul that was never more beautiful.
There was a game without looks and without words,
I torn my own heart apart,
For half a year I have torn myself from invisible shackles,
I lost the battle, but I found the door.
And what now? On this side?
The autumn rain pounding in my soul,
And the hours go by and by,
I remember what once was...
