A boo-big dove for a little company! :)
So many good things about Savoy cabbage on the Internet, can not pass by! But I was not impressed with it in salads :( , but I liked it very much in a braised and baked form!
And here's what they write: Savoy cabbage contains more vitamins, proteins and minerals than the average white cabbage. It contains many vitamins A, E and C, carotene, thiamin, riboflavin, salts of potassium, phosphorus, and iron. Savoy cabbage is rich in amino acids, carbohydrates and pectin substances, it has mustard oil and phytoncides.
Savoy cabbage is the only cabbage that contains the alcohol mannitol (sugar substitute for diabetics). That is why it is useful for people suffering from diabetes. Also Savoy cabbage has diuretic properties and prevents high blood pressure.
Savoy cabbage has mild fiber and is ideal for a diet diet. It is good for everyone, for children, adults and the elderly.
