Actinidia Wine and Chacha

Cooked wine and actinidia chacha

Uncle brought up 1.5 buckets of actinidia (far eastern sultanas) from the homestead plot. Some of it was eaten this way, some of it was pounded with sugar, and I decided to make wine from it. A search on the web showed that different websites have the same recipe, but I was confused by the amount of sugar: 1 kg of sultanas for 1.5 kg of sugar. Decided to make the wine, relying on my taste. The recipe is presented in the form of a diary.

Gleg

Cooked Glug

The first month of winter is sometimes associated with champagne. Only that only applies to December 31. And all the other days should belong to the glög. At least that's what our Scandinavian neighbors say. The main ingredients usually include wine (usually red), spices like cinnamon and cloves, and sometimes an addition of vodka, aquavit or cognac. The mixture is heated, but not brought to a boil so that the alcohol does not evaporate. For the contest "New Year Flavors of the Planet".
