Creamy Coffee Liqueur

Cooked Creamy Coffee Liqueur

Time to cook: 20 minutes

Honestly, I found a few liqueur recipes I liked here, made all of them, but I wanted something easier to make and without expensive ingredients, so by trial and error I discovered this recipe. A delicious, creamy, coffee-like, not sugary and easy-to-make liqueur that doesn't need a lot of maturing, just a refrigeration before serving. It kept in the refrigerator for a week, but I can't vouch for the longer storage time. It tastes like a commercial creamy coffee liqueur, like my sister said.

Glasse Milk Coffee

Cooked Milk Coffee Glasse

Total Servings: 2

One of our many classic coffees. Classical glasse consists of chilled coffee and an ice cream scoop. There is still some debate about the origins of the recipe. Some experts think that the native land of cold coffee was mountain Austria, others refer the recipe to the French cuisine. It is reliable to say that glasse-café has been popular in Parisian coffee houses since the first quarter of the last century. From Europe, coffee with ice cream made its way to America and Japan. And today, this recipe retains its popularity. Every country has its own variants of making this recipe.
