Buckwheat

Cooked buckwheat

Time to cook: 60 minutes

Total Servings: 6

Buckwheat stew is a traditional Russian way of serving buckwheat porridge with soup or borscht. Buckwheat porridge is easy to make and looks much prettier on the table than a bowl of porridge. Buckwheat sticks, or grechniki, were sold in the capital's streets to order, hot and drizzled with tallow oil. But still, originally it was not a separate dish, but an accessory to the soup, served instead of bread. I cooked buckwheat in a VITEK VT-4214 Multicooker, adding some mushrooms for flavor.

Brown Rice Pilaf

Cooked Brown Rice Pilaf

After trying the simmering, steaming, express mode, I decided it was time to try a mode that was unfamiliar to me, which is available in the multicooker - "Brown Rice". Brown rice, aka brown rice. All rice, regardless of its color, contains the same amount of carbohydrates, fats, proteins and calories. The difference between white and brown rice lies in its iron, vitamin and cellulose content. The reason is that rice cereal loses vitamins and iron along with its shell. That's why brown rice is much harder to cook than regular rice because of its shell. Brown rice is recommended for dietary feed. I decided I was going to make brown rice pilaf. It turned out very tasty!!! Making Pilaw in a VITEK VT-4200 Multicooker.

Cooked Milk Corn Porridge in the Multicooker

Time to cook: 65 minutes

Total Servings: 1

Cooking in a multicooker is easy - just know the proportions. For now, one of the few things I am allowed to make is corn porridge. I couldn't find a recipe for corn porridge in the paperwork for my mw, nor could I find one on the website. So... Internet + experiments = this recipe. By the way, this porridge is a dish that meets the criteria for hypoallergenic diets for breastfeeding mothers, as well as children with a BCM allergy.
