This recipe for pickled tomatoes is quite different from other recipes I've seen before. It was shared with me by an acquaintance who used to be a great cook. I was surprised by the recipe. And when I used it to make pickled tomatoes, the three-liter jar was enough for a family of three for two days. So I was not surprised in vain.
At first sight, the dish is seasonal: when will there be fresh tomatoes. But fruits from Central Asia are on the shelves almost all year round. So, this snack can be made at any time.
