Our introduction to wild rice started with this salad, the first time I cooked it and the first time we ate it. It's a very interesting process, it's fun to watch how the seeds open up in the process of cooking. We thought the combination of this particular rice in this salad with lightly salted fish, fresh cucumber and light dressing was very good. In addition, this salad looks very pretty, it can easily be served to guests at the party.
