How to cook tomato salad with bread step by step with photos
Sorry about the photos: it was raining cats and dogs while I was cooking, so I had to finish it while it was already dark :(
To make the salad, you need to make the following preparations.
Cut an onion into half rings. |
Pour boiling water over it and let it sit for about 15 minutes.
Bread - it's better to take some aromatic bread, for example, "Borodinsky", "Baltic", but as a last resort an ordinary black bread will do.
We cut it into small squares and leave it to dry a little.
Then fry in a small amount of vegetable oil until browned.
Then add minced garlic and salt. You can also add your favorite spices. |
Mix the soy sauce, balsamic, sugar and a little water. Taste and adjust the taste, it should be sweet and sour.
I suggest you use sweet soy sauce.
Pour the dressing over the onions. |
The tomatoes for the salad must be juicy.
I used pink tomatoes. I put them in the salad bowl. |
Cut the feta cheese into small slices. |
Add the onion and dressing to the tomatoes, and the cheese.
Taste and season with salt as needed.
Before serving we add aromatic croutons.
Very juicy, tangy and fragrant. This salad was like a dinner for me. |
