Great appetizer! Bright, slightly salty flavor, firm texture, very good as a man's snack with beer. It's possible to say that this dish is the antipode for chicken hearts in sour cream or cream sauce, which are distinguished by their softness and delicate creamy flavor. It can be cooked both in a frying pan and on the grill, which makes it possible to diversify dishes on the coals and add something new to kebabs. Cooking requires almost no labor.

Our original ingredients: The marinade proportions are pretty tentative. It is not forbidden to add your favorite spices or dry herbs, hot pepper.

Prepare the marinade: slices of garlic and finely julienne the peeled ginger. Grate the ginger to intensify the flavor. Pour cold boiled water and soy sauce into a bowl and add Worcester sauce, garlic and ginger.

Rinse chicken hearts, trim off excess fat and remaining guts.

Pour the hearts into marinade. Let the marinade marinate for at least 2 hours, if not overnight.

We take the marinaded hearts out of the marinade, peel off the garlic and ginger and put them on small wooden skewers. If you're going to grill it on coals, then oil the hearts with vegetable oil beforehand. Heat a little oil in a frying pan and put the skewers with the hearts. Fry the hearts over medium heat, turning often, for about 20 minutes. Toward the end of cooking, pour 2-3 tablespoons of marinade into the pan and evaporate it.

Serve hot or cold with fresh vegetables and herbs. Delicious!
