My dear husband used to love baked ears at the eateries. They don't come cheap, so I thought I'd try making them at home, and it turned out to be really easy!!! I recommend it for those who like it!!! This is very delicious.

Ingredients for baked pork ears:

  • Offal (Big pork ears) - 1 kg
  • Onions - 2 pcs
  • Cloves (whole, optional) - 2 - 3 pcs
  • Milk - 2 glass
  • Wheat flour / Flour - 2 tablespoon
  • Butter - 2 tablespoon
  • Mustard (French) - 2 tablespoon
  • Salt (+ pepper, to taste)

How to cook baked pork ears step by step with photos

Peel and wash pork ears well, then cut them in half. Boil them in plenty of water. Cook for 2-3 hours over low heat with cloves, salt, pepper and quarters of onion.

Let the ears cool and cut into thin strips. Put them in a baking dish.

Make sauce. Melt butter, add flour and stir well with a spatula. Pour in milk in a thin stream, stirring well to prevent lumps forming. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and add mustard. Bring to the boil, stirring well so that the sauce thickens. Pour the sauce on ears and put in oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.

The ears are ready. Serve hot or cold.
