Little Nastenka is jumping around grandma and squeaking: "Pate! I want some pâté! ♪ Make some pâté ♪! Make some pâté! ¶ Grandma ¶.. " I remember the taste from my childhood and I love it. Then when I was older, I decided to make it myself. It turned out to be very easy. So easy that I'm even embarrassed to buy it in a store. I can't steam turnips, but I can make pâté, please :) In the process it turned out that the chicken liver is softer and nicer, so I present this version

Ingredients for liver pate "easy":

  • Chicken liver - 800 g
  • Onion (medium) - 2 pcs
  • Carrots (large) - 1 pc
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Butter (+ 1 tbsp.l. for frying) - 50 g
  • Greens (for decoration)

How to cook liver pate "easy" step by step with photos

Fry liver in butter until it changes color. Just a few minutes. Remove from pan.

Dice carrots and onions into large cubes and sauté in the oil left over from frying liver until onions are translucent.

Return liver to pan, cover and simmer for 15 minutes over medium heat.

With a blender (or mincing machine) beat all the ingredients to a paste.

Add finely chopped butter to the still hot paté, salt, stir and leave in the fridge to cool. Enjoy!!
