Hot liver appetizer with mushrooms

Hot appetizers are always popular, and they do not always require expensive products.
Ingredients for a hot snack of liver with mushrooms:

Beef liver
(veal is better)

Champignons

Butter

100 g

White dry wine

50 ml

Soy sauce

1,5 tablespoon

Black pepper
(to taste)

Cream
(20%)

200 ml

Sweet paprika

1 teaspoon
How to cook hot liver snack with mushrooms step by step with photos

Heat a frying pan, melt half the butter in the pan, cut the liver into pieces and quickly fry it on all sides |

Add onion to liver and fry all together for about 5-7 minutes. Cover and remove from heat |

Melt the other half of the butter and fry the sliced mushrooms in it over a very high heat, pour in the wine and simmer until the wine has evaporated, about 7 to 8 minutes |

Chop the mushrooms in a food processor or with a blender to a purée |
|
Return liver pot to the stove, add mashed mushrooms, season with soy sauce, freshly ground pepper, cream and paprika |

Sauté the liver over low heat for about 10 more minutes |
|

If you want to surprise your guests - put the snack in small jars, decorate the top with a slice of tomato and a sprig of herbs. Serve ice cream scoops with long handles as serving utensils - I think your guests will love it! |
