Lavash baskets with liver pate

How to cook pita baskets with liver pate step by step with photos

1. Wash liver, remove foil. 2 tbsp. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil (1 butter + 1 olive oil) in a saucepan or cauldron. Dice onion, grate carrots. Fry vegetables in oil until soft. |

2. Then add remaining oil. When the oil starts to boil, add bay leaf, thyme, nutmeg. black pepper, liver, soy sauce, cognac. |
|
3. Turn heat down to low and simmer covered for 3 to 5 minutes. Then beat liver with blender. Cut lavash into small squares. Arrange squares in silicone muffin tins. |
|
4. Brush with olive oil. Preheat oven to 200°C. Put the baskets in the oven for about 2-3 minutes. We want the pita bread to get crispy. |

5. Then take out baskets from the forms, fill with paste and garnish with a cherry tomato.
