Ingredients for liver soufflé with mushrooms:

  • Chicken liver (any liver can be) - 0,5 kg
  • Mushrooms - 300 g
  • Chicken egg - 3-4 pcs
  • Onion - 3-4 pcs
  • Carrots - 2-3 pcs
  • Vermicelli (instant) - 2 pack.
  • Wheat flour / Flour - 3 tablespoon
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Sour cream - 2 tablespoon

How to cook liver souffle with mushrooms step by step with photos

Here are the foods we need.

Chop the liver (my liver is chicken) in a blender with the onion, carrot and boiled mushrooms (I have porcini but any mushrooms will do). Shred instant vermicelli and add to "stuffing".

Add flour and egg yolks.

Whisk the egg whites and salt into a stiff foam and delicately add them to the mixture. Season with salt and pepper.

Spread in greased buttered baking dish. Brush the top with sour cream.

Bake in oven at 180° until golden brown.

Serve at!
