Ingredients for liver and rice in dough:


  • Chicken liver - 400 g
  • Onions - 1 pc
  • Rice (Indica Gold from TD "Mistral") - 3 tablespoon
  • Chicken egg - 4 pcs
  • Starch - 1 tablepoon
  • Wheat flour / Flour - 120 g
  • Sour cream - 100 g
  • Soda - 2 pinch.
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Seasoning (I have paprika and black pepper) - to taste

How to cook liver and rice in pastry step by step with photos


Boil rice, liver and 3 eggs. Chop liver and eggs in large chunks. Cut onion in half rings and fry in olive oil.

To prepare dough: mix sour cream, egg, baking soda, flour. Combine rice, eggs, liver, onion, starch, salt and pepper.

Pour into greased baking pan.

Bake until crusty and browned at 180' C (I baked for 30 minutes)
