Ingredients for liver balls:

  • Chicken liver (or beef, or rabbit) - 250 g
  • Chicken egg (2 boiled eggs,1 fresh egg is used in minced liver. You can replace the egg with a handful of grated cheese.) - 3 pcs
  • Onions - 1.5 pcs
  • Salt (and pepper to taste)
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoon
  • Bread (Toast in a toaster) - 2 pcs
  • Buckwheat (ТМ "Mistral" in sachets ) - 2 pcs

How to cook liver balls step by step with photos

Remove all the ducts and membranes from the liver and fry in large pieces in olive oil until soft. Coarsely chop onion and also fry it. Lightly toast bread in a toaster or in an oven.

Boil 2 eggs. Separate egg yolks from egg whites. Chop whites and add them to liver and onion. Grate the yolks on a coarse grater.

Boil in buckwheat TM "Mistral".

Grind liver with onion and cooked egg white on a meat grinder. Season with salt and pepper. Add the WOOD Eggs (attention, if you doubt and are afraid to add eggs without thermal processing, here you can add grated cheese and before shaping the balls slightly warm the stuffing so that the cheese melts. It turns out very wonderful.). Shape into balls. Dip them in grated egg yolks and serve on toasted slices of bread, sliced at random.

I thought this appetizer was interesting, but not very much. And to the "the basic package" I added some garlic and seedless olives.
