  • Pork liver - 750 g
  • Lentils - 100 g
  • Water (for cooking lentils) - 200 g
  • Onions (120 g) - 1 pc
  • Lard (this is melted pork fat) - 100 g
  • Lard - 125 g
  • Chicken egg - 1 pc
  • Salt - 25 g
  • Spices (ground: black pepper + hot pepper, nutmeg, coriander, cinnamon) - 2 teaspoon
  • Guts (cm, 38 mm in diameter) - 150

How to cook liver sausage with lentils step by step with photos

Cut liver into medium sized chunks for a meat grinder

Boil lentils in water until tender (35-40 minutes). Drain the water.

Chop onion finely and fry in lard. Grind onion, liver and lentils with meat grinder.

Cut bacon into cubes (5x5x5 mm) and add to the stuffing.

Whip egg and add to minced meat. Add spices, salt and mix the filling thoroughly.

Using a special attachment - an attachment for a meat grinder stuff the intestines with minced meat, tie them up and send to the oven at 80-90 degrees C for 2 hours. Let cool.
