Ingredients for appetizer balls of pâté

  • Chicken liver - 300 g
  • Onions (medium head) - 1 pc
  • Carrot (medium) - 1 pc
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoon
  • Cheese curd - 100 g
  • Cucumber (greenhouse, long) - 3 pcs
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Pepper mixture (ground) - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Dill - to taste
  • Greens (to serve)
  • Sesame (white) - 30 g

How to cook pâté balls step by step with photos

Peel and dice carrots and onions. I used a GALAXY GL2300 food processor to chop them.

Pour vegetable oil in a hot pan and fry carrots and onion over medium heat with the lid closed for 10 minutes.

Add chicken liver to vegetables. Stir.

Season with salt and pepper mix, stir and stew over medium heat until soft and tender, about 15 minutes.

Let cool down after cooking liver and vegetables.

Put cooled liver into the bowl of a food processor, add cottage cheese and dill (I have frozen).

I used a GALAXY GL2300 food processor.

Grind to a smooth paste.

Make pâté into balls the size of large walnuts. У I got 30 pieces We roll the balls in sesame seeds. And put them in the fridge (freezer).

Cut cucumber into thin strips with a grater or vegetable peeler.

Put pâté ball on cucumber strip. Wrap the ball in a strip and fasten it with a skewer. Happy New Year!
