How to cook potato dumplings with liver step by step with photos
Core, liver, lung cut in chunks, add salt and 2 bay leaves, boil in pressure cooker until tender. |
Boil peeled potatoes in salted water, with bay leaf and 1 tsp.l. chicken broth "Rollton" (optional). |
Drain the water from the cooked potatoes, cool slightly, add the eggs, flour, garlic squeezed through a garlic peeler, mix thoroughly. |
Take out boiled giblets with a slotted spoon, mince them together with onion and garlic. Season with salt and pepper and mix well. |
Shape into balls the size of a walnut. |
Now make muffins with wet hands: put potato dough on one palm, put a ball of liver on top. Shape dumplings. |
If it turns out badly, you can put some more potatoes on the liver, so it will be easier to envelop the stuffing. |
Roll each shanezhka in breadcrumbs and put them on a baking tray. |
We fry our dumplings in hot oil on a frying pan on both sides.. If you wish you can bake them in the oven. |
Ready ruddy dumplings served on a plate. |
Before serving, sprinkle with sour cream or fried onions and cracklings. Enjoy!! |
