How to cook liver piquant by Transbaikalia step by step with photos
Rinse and dry chicken liver. Pour soy sauce, taking a tablespoon each of Kikkoman sweet sauce and teriyaki sauce of the same brand. Leave to marinade on a table for an hour. |
Peel and core an apple. |
Heat a tablespoon of oil, add half a tablespoon of sugar and add the apple slices. Gently brown the apple slices over medium heat until soft. Turn them over and drizzle with a spoonful of wine vinegar. Sour apples will taste much better, but they are more difficult to work with and need to be turned very carefully, so the choice is yours. Transfer the apples at once to serving plates. |
Pour oil into a pan and add liverwurst and marinade. Add chopped onion and fry on medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes. |
Turn liver over and pour two scoops of sweet Kikkoman soy sauce on top. Cook 4 to 5 minutes more, liver should be still pink inside. |
Remove liver from pan, add cranberries to onion, sugar and remaining wine vinegar. Pour in a teaspoon of Kikkoman teriyaki sauce. Stir and stew for a few minutes until the sauce thickens. |
Add liver to apples, pour onion and cranberry sauce, sprinkle with chili pepper and serve with a glass of white wine. Serve the liver well with fresh white toast.
