This is an absolutely delicious and very simple recipe. It's more like a little fresh take on the famous scrambled eggs. On weekends, when there's no need to rush anywhere, it's so nice to please your loved ones with such a beautiful breakfast... It can start in the afternoon on Sunday... Bon appétit!

Ingredients for Baked Eggs "Sunday" in 15 minutes:


  • Chicken egg - 6 pcs
  • Bacon (6 thin strips or 4 wider strips) - 6 pcs
  • Hollandaise cheese - 1 tablepoon
  • Bell pepper - 1 tablespoon
  • Pita bread (or one tortilla) - 1 pc
  • Puff pastry (if you have dough, you will need 2 10 cm rounds) - 1 pc
  • Ham - 2 tablespoon

How to cook baked eggs "Sunday" in 15 minutes step by step with photos


Prepare muffin molds. If you have disposable ones, probably better. I only have silicone ones. I have to butter them.

Use a glass to cut out the puff pastry. 2 mugs. If there is no dough, you can replace it with a thin slice of white bread or pita bread.

The next 2 molds I have with Mexican tortilla circles.

And 2 molds just with bacon in a circle. Now we start adding stuffing to each mold. You can put anything you can find in the depths of your fridge. Mushrooms, tomatoes, onions (if you're not going to the reception), sausage, chicken, etc... Me: Peppers, cheese, ham.

Spread out in each mold. Your imagination at this stage - is limitless!

In each mold we break an egg. If you have quail eggs, it's a lot of fun. The kids will be delighted.

Salt and pepper to taste!

Then we put grated or finely shredded cheese on top.

All. Let's put it in the oven heated up to 200 gr for 10 minutes. Until the eggs are cooked to your favorite stage.

Take out. Let rest a little bit and carefully take out of the molds. You can also serve in them or in great disposable paper ones!
