Ingredients for crunchy croutons in an omelette:


  • Chicken egg - 2 pcs
  • Dill - 1 bunch.
  • Onion - 1 pc
  • Eggplant (you can do without it - I had a cooked one) - 0,5 pc
  • Wheat flour / Flour - 1 tablepoon
  • Salt
  • Baton - 3 slices.
  • Butter (for frying)
  • Milk - 2 tablespoon

How to cook crispy toast in an omelette step by step with photos


Beat eggs with a fork.

Finely chop dill and onion.

Add dill and chopped onion to the eggs. Stir and season with salt.

I added pre-cooked eggplant. I cut it into small pieces. But you can do without it.

Add flour and milk and mix.

Cut the loaf into strips.

The dough is divided into two parts. I fry it in butter. The first part of the dough we place on a heated frying pan with butter.

Immediately on top of the dough we place the loaf. And fry it for a couple of minutes.

Then flip it over. And fry the bread well until it's golden and crispy.

Take it off the frying pan. And fry the second part of the omelet on both sides.

Then we place the omelet on the bread. And serve at once! The crouton is crispy inside and the omelet is soft and flavorful!
