A funny thing happened today. I was going to make another recipe. Because of my inattention I bought pollock liver instead of cod liver, and it was paste too. So I had to improvise. And in the end, the appetizer turned out very presentable and delicious. It would be perfect for a buffet table.

Ingredients for the eggs stuffed with Pollock liver mousse:

  • Chicken egg - 3 pcs
  • Pollack liver (or cod liver) - 100 g
  • Cheese curd - 100 g
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Pepper mixture (ground) - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Dill - to taste
  • Sweet paprika (for decoration) - to taste
  • Greens (For decoration) - to taste

How to cook eggs stuffed with pollock liver mousse step by step with photos

Here's a side order of pollock liver. You can have cod liver.

Boil the eggs, pour cold water on them, peel them and halve them.

To make the mousse we carefully take yolk out of the eggs. Place boiled egg yolks, cottage cheese, pollack liver, dill, garlic, lemon juice, salt, ground pepper mix in a bowl.

Beat all the ingredients with a blender to create a homogeneous cream - mousse. Put in the fridge for 20 minutes to stabilize.

Put the mousse in a culinary bag with a nozzle "open" or "closed" star. Dip mousse into cooked egg whites.

Serve this appetizer chilled.

When serving, sprinkle with paprika and garnish with greens, I have mint. There is a lot of mousse, you can also put it on bread or dried bread. Enjoy!!!!
