Ingredients for boiled egg appetizer:

  • Quail egg (or 2 chicken eggs) - 4 pcs
  • Ham - 50 g
  • Pickled cucumber (2 small cucumbers) - 40 g
  • Onion (small onion) - 0.5 pcs
  • Mayonnaise - 1 tablespoon
  • Sour cream - 1 tablespoon
  • Sauce (Worcester, Tabasco or other hot sauce) - 3 drops.
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Dill - 1 sprig.

How to cook appetizer with boiled eggs step by step with photos

Let's prepare all necessary products. I used quail eggs.

We boil the eggs, peel them and halve them lengthwise. If the eggs are chicken, we either slice them in circles or cut them in 4 parts: first vertically, then horizontally. Cut the ham, cucumbers and onion into very small cubes.

Mix the mayonnaise, sour cream and Worcester sauce in a bowl, season to taste and sprinkle with ground black pepper. Stir.

Add ham, cucumbers and onions, stir together. Then put half an egg on top, drip a drop of mayonnaise and sprinkle chopped dill on the egg. We can put all this beauty on a piece of rye bread. You can do it in a common bowl as a salad. Use it however you like.
