How to cook pickled eggs "the golden age of hen rowan" step by step with photos

Boil the eggs until fully "cool", т.е., about 10 minutes. By the way, for marinating, it is better to take table eggs category C-2. They are half the size of the selected ones, but bigger than quail eggs.

Here's all you need to make the appetizer "Golden Eggs". I remembered the olive oil later, it was not in the picture.

I have a 750 ml jar, so it holds 8 eggs. But it is convenient to screw the lid on. Peel and fold the eggs. Mix the ingredients for the marinade, cut the chili pepper in half with a knife. but not all the way through. that way they will give out their spiciness better.

Add salt, sugar, vinegar and bring mixture to the boil.

Pour hot marinade over eggs, add olive oil, close the lid and shake the contents vigorously.

Now let the eggs sit in the marinade for 12 to 24 hours. Once cooled place in the fridge and if you can, turn the jar upside down so that the marinade gets mixed. Serve as an appetizer on toast with a leaf of lettuce. For example like this. Very spicy and no mouse can break an egg like that!
