Friends, there's a weekend ahead, and maybe someone could use a great frittata recipe for the upcoming weekend. An omelet, you say, how not interesting. Yes, an omelet, but not a simple one, but with vegetables and baked in the oven, but the main highlight of this dish, it is prepared by the incomparable, brutal, charismatic, what's there, just cool Harrison Ford in a hilarious comedy "Good Morning". If you missed this movie, let me say a few words about it. A young employee gets a job at a third-rate morning show, which she tries to revive. To do so, she invites formerly well-known political journalist Mike Pomeroy, played by Harrison Ford, to co-host. Paired with former beauty queen Diane Keaton, who has an obnoxious temper and high ambitions, Pomeroy must tell all kinds of empty news. The conflicts and battles between the characters escalate, and in the meantime, the morning show begins to gain momentum. Harrison Ford makes a frittata twice in the film, and, both times, it's his personal way of apologizing. The movie is light, fun, very homey. If you have an extra hour, have a family movie night, remembering to make this wonderful Italian recipe for breakfast.

To create this Italian breakfast, we need to cut leeks in rings.

Fry red bell peppers in olive oil. I had frozen, so I took them out of the fridge about 10 minutes beforehand.

I had cilantro but parsley or dill would work, mix the eggs, collard greens and Parmesan in a bowl. Taste and season with salt and pepper.

We'll need a heatproof skillet that we can put in the oven. In olive oil, fry the leeks for a bit, add the tomato slices and peppers.

Fill with egg mixture and top with more Parmesan.

Let's put our frittata in the oven preheated to 170 degrees for 10 minutes.

"Good Morning" - A simple and very funny movie that gives a rest to the mind, thanks to the unpretentious plot and excellent acting work. Some might say Ford isn't what he used to be, and they'd be right. Now he's an imposing, occasionally grouchy man in the prime of his life! Believe me, the frittata is worth the effort to make right in the morning to hear the nice words - "Good Morning!".
