Ingredients for herring spread:


  • Herring (filet) - 200 g
  • Mustard (spicy - more/smaller) - 1 teaspoon
  • Butter (soft) - 100 g
  • Lemon juice (1/2 lemon - more/less to taste) - 2 tablespoon
  • Greens (dill, cilantro - to taste (I have cilantro)) - 30 g
  • Chicken egg (boiled) - 2 pcs
  • Salt (I did not salt) - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

How to cook herring spread step by step with photos


Prepare the products.

Put on gloves. Finely chop herring fillets and hard-boiled eggs.

Finely chop your favorite greens. I have cilantro.

Mix soft butter with chopped greens and mustard (I used a fork) until smooth.

Add chopped eggs. mix well.
