Saw this appetizer at "Encore Recipes" newspapers "The Tablecloth" (my favorite newspaper, great recipes, cooked only from it until I learned about "Cookbook"). It prints the recipes that have more reviews from readers of this newspaper. I decided to try it and since then, it's one of my favorite snacks. Very quick and no less delicious. I'm surprised that this recipe has not been widely used.

Ingredients for appetizer "crabs in lemons":


  • Chicken Eggs - 8 pcs
  • Crabsticks - 200 g
  • Lemon - 1/2 Piece
  • Mayonnaise - 150 g
  • Salt (to taste)

How to cook appetizer "crabs in lemons" step by step with photos


Boil the eggs.

Grate crabsticks on a grater.

Halve the eggs, mix the yolks with the crabsticks and lemon juice, season with salt and pepper to taste, then stir in the mayonnaise. Fill egg halves with this mixture and garnish with greenery.

I would like to tell separately about the lemon. In the original recipe we had two lemons. But I can't even imagine so many lemons. So I only put 1/2-1/3.
