Nutritional Value

Most people are familiar with frozen egg yolks and have tried this. I suggest you try this appetizer from Yasuke Shimoki, who owns a Japanese bar. This appetizer is served with sake. But it's also delicious and unusual with rice. Simple and fun at the same time.

Here are the ingredients you will need.

Carefully separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. Put the egg yolks in a bowl so that you can pour the marinade over them.

Mix myrin and soy sauce. If you don't have myrrh, a semi-sweet white wine will do. Close the container and leave in the fridge for 8 hours.

In 8 hours the yolks will be covered with a thick egg yolk, soaked in the sauce. If you let it sit for 24 hours, the yolks will turn amber in color and will be even thicker. Together with the rice it's delicious. Enjoy!
