Ingredients for scrambled eggs Provenza:

  • Chicken egg - 3 pcs
  • Cream cheese - 50 g
  • Wheat flour / Flour - 1 tablepoon
  • Sour cream - 2 teaspoon
  • Milk - 130 ml
  • Onions - 1 pc
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Nutmeg - to taste
  • Salt - to taste
  • Allspice - to taste
  • Butter - 40 g
  • Greens (for serving)

How to cook Provencal eggs step by step with photos

Boil, cool and peel eggs. Halve them.

Dice onions.

Fry onion and garlic (optional) in butter until golden brown.

Then sprinkle with flour and stir. Pour in milk, season with salt and pepper.

Cook until it thickens, stirring continuously with a whisk. Stir in nutmeg and sour cream, then remove from heat.

Place eggs in greased baking dish.

Pour over creamy sauce.

Grate grated cheese and cover with top layer. Spread slices of butter on top of cheese.

Bake in a hot oven for 12 minutes at 180°С. You can also prepare such eggs in cocotte pans. Enjoy!!
